What happened

Well the Super Bowl is over. I was going for the Bears. At halftime, though, I was so fed up that I no longer cared if the Colts would win. Speaking of halftime, this year’s show was done by Prince. When it started the stage burst into a huge flame which was pretty cool (unfortunately Prince didn’t go up with it).

So at about 8:30 Sunday night (remember, this is a few hours before the Super Bowl started here) we switched on the TV and there was a pretty neat show on ESPN about the Super Bowl. Then at about 10:30 Will (not his real name) and Bart (not his real name either) came over. We kind of sat around watching TV and eating chips until the game came on. I woke up my dad and a couple of his friends came when it started.

Don’t get me wrong, Bart is a good guy. But he can talk! He doesn’t seem to realize that the conversations we have consist of the rest of us speaking a sentence when he does a couple paragraphs. Will seems to smile and nod.

We were all kind of out of it until the first play of the game. Then Bart really took off. But all in all it was a good time.

The Super Bowl is almost here

The Super Bowl starts at 1:30AM on Monday where I live (there’s a hint). We’re having a few friends over. I wonder how it will go.
